2.00 pm Monday 8th December – Christmas Carols Church Centre for members of the Women’s Institute (WI)
7.00 pm Tuesday 9th December Advent Reflective Worship at St Mary’s Parish Church
3.00 pm Thursday 11th December Christmas Memorial service Mayfields Burial Ground led by Rev’d Beth Glover with music by some members of the church choir.
6.00 pm Friday 12th December Carols by the church lychgate 🎵with the 🎺 Salvation Army. The event will be followed by mulled wine and mince pies in church. 😋🍷🥧 We offer the chance for local people to sell home-made crafts, cakes, decorations and goodies that evening – all they need to do is bring a table and let us know that they plan to come. Children will be invited to decorate the outdoor Christmas tree🎄
Sunday 14th December – 10.00 am Family Christingle 🍊 and Communion for everyone. Our Christingles remind us that Jesus is the light of the world. 🕯
2.00 pm Tuesday 16th December Christmas Carols at CAMEO in the Church Centre.
8.00 pm Tuesday 16th December The church men’s group are meeting for a Christmas drink in the Hooton Arms in Eastham.
Sunday 21st December 6.00 pm Carol Service. The Carol Service 🎼 is a traditional service of nine readings and carols.
Christmas Eve – Wednesday 24th December Crib Service 4.00 pm
Our very popular Crib Service with a real sheep 🐏 and a real donkey 🐴. There’ll be a chance for children to dress up as characters from the nativity story. All welcome.
There’ll also be a late night service starting at 10.30 pm on Christmas Eve and a 10.00 am celebration Holy Communion service on Christmas Day.
Church Open for Prayer 🙏 & Visits
The church is open every Friday and Saturday between 11.00 am and 2.00 pm for people to look around and as a quiet space for private prayer and contemplation.
